After Three-Year Hiatus,Popular CHN Influencer Li Ziqi Comeback!

Chinese influencer Li Ziqi made a surprising return to social media after being absent for more than three years, thrilling her fans with the release of two new videos. These videos featured the transformation of a shed into a woodland cloakroom and the crafting of wardrobe doors using traditional Chinese lacquerware techniques. They were shared on platforms such as Douyin, Sina Weibo, and YouTube.

Even though her last content update was on July 14, 2021, Li’s follower count continued to increase, with numerous fans eagerly anticipating her comeback. Her latest videos quickly helped her surpass 26.67 million followers on Sina Weibo and 50.15 million on Douyin. Notably, her lacquerware video garnered 120 million views and 1.94 million interactions on Sina Weibo by Wednesday morning.

Li’s return became a major online trend, and she received an overwhelming amount of support in the comments section of her videos. She replied by expressing how much she missed her audience and promised to share more content when possible. “Miss you!” she wrote.

Since starting in 2016, Li has captivated viewers with her Sina Weibo videos showcasing idyllic rural life, traditional cooking, and cultural practices. In 2020, she set a Guinness World Record for having the most subscribers on a Chinese-language YouTube channel, with 11.4 million followers at that time. Her reappearance in the realm of content creation marks a notable event for her millions of fans around the globe.
